Authors publishing in this magazine agree to the following conditions:

  • In accordance with the provisions of Law 17.336 on Intellectual Property, authors are the exclusive holders of the moral rights to their works published in ETHIKA+ Magazine (hereinafter referred to as the Magazine); consequently, they may claim their authorship and oppose any distortion, mutilation or modification made without their express and prior consent.
  • The authors agree to comply with the editorial rules established by the magazine.
  • Authors declare that the work submitted to the Review is an original and unpublished work, and that they are the original and exclusive holders of the economic and moral copyright of the article, in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned Intellectual Property Law; they also declare that, in the event that they have used, in whole or in part, the works of other authors in the preparation of the article, they have the appropriate authorizations or licenses of use from the respective owners, or that their use is expressly covered by one of the exceptions established by the Law.
  • The authors expressly release the journal from any further liability for any legal, regulatory, or contractual infringement that it may commit or have committed in relation to the work and undertake to compensate for any damage resulting from such infringement.
  • Authors expressly authorize the Journal to have the rights of publication, edition, reproduction, and distribution, including making the article available to the public online by electronic or digital means in its original language. This authorization is granted free of charge, indefinitely, perpetually, non-exclusively and irrevocably (so that the author may grant a similar authorization to other persons but may not revoke the authorization granted to this journal), as long as the corresponding rights exist, thus exempting the journal from any payment or remuneration for the exercise of the aforementioned rights.
  • Publication in our journal is subject to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) This means that the reader is free to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format. The license is irrevocable if the terms and conditions are met. The terms of the license are as follows
  1. Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and note if changes have been made to the material. You may do this in any reasonable way, but not in a way that suggests that the reader or its use is endorsed by the licensor.
  2. NonCommercial: You may not use the Material for any commercial purpose.

The journal will publish all its content under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license from 2020, its first year of publication.
